DCARC Minutes
September 14, 2009
The DCARC held its monthly meeting on September 14, 2009 at the Rennaissance
Center with Vollie Miller presiding. The following members were present, Frank,
Sena, Larry, Toni, Ed, Phil, Richard, Vollie and Charles.
The meeting was started with a pledge of allegiance. Information was pass along
to members concerning the health condition of inactive member Jeff Clark.
Membership applications were received from Jerry Frank, KJ4BGG and Sena Frank,
KJ4BGH and were approved by a vote of the members present.
Confirmation was presented by Vollie that the club picnic would be held at Lakeview
Park on October 10th at 6 pm.
A motion was made and approved that the Christmas Party be held on December 12th,
with the location to be determined. Toni was to check on available locations.
Charles was to check with Dickson Chief of Police Rick Chandler about the DCARC’s
participation in “Operation Goblin” this year.
Vollie stated that the Ten-Tec Hamfest would be held on September 26th and 27th.
Donations were received from club members in the amount of $17.00. This raised
the club balance to $413.04.
Vollie presented a variety of door prizes and told members present to select
what they wanted.
A motion was made and passed that the meeting adjourn.
