Dickson County Amateur Radio Club minutes:

The November meeting of the Dickson County Amateur Radio Club was held on Monday, 12 November 2007 at 7:00PM in room 216 of the Dickson Renaissance Center.

The October Minutes were read.
Charles asked for motion to accept the minutes as read.
Vollie Made the motion to accept, and Larry seconded it. All approved

The Christmas Party was discused and was voted to go to JoAnnes. JoAnnes is located on Central Ave right accross from the Front Porch Resturant.
The date set for Saturday Dec. 8, 2007 at 6:00PM.
The price is $10.50 per plate.

Contests
Jeff reported 3 contest coming up,
Sweepstakes contest is Nov 17, 18.
160 meter contest is Dec 1, 2
World Wide CW contest is at the end of Nov.

VE Session Charles reported that the last V.E. session we had no one showed.
He suggest we not schedule another for a while.

Field Day Results
Vollie reported that the Field Day results were out. DCARC came in 7th overall and 2nd behind Williamson County.

JOTA
Larry commented on the JOTA contest. He said it was interesting. The highlight was a daughter and grandson got to talk to the daughter's father.
Larry rules it a success.

Flowers
It was decided to reimburse Jeff for flowers that was sent to Steve Manley's Mothers furenal

Yahoo reflector
Jerry to take the weekly net announcement off the Yahoo Reflector.

Donations was $35.00 bringing our new balance to $308.61
