Dickson County Amateur Radio Club minutes:

The Dickson County Amateur Radio Club met in room 216 at the Renaissance Center for our monthly meeting on 13, August, 2007 at 7:00 pm.

Members Present were
Charles Seay – KN4HL, President
Jeff Clark – NY4N, Vice President
Jerry Lewis – KG4HDZ. Secretary / Treasurer

Richard Anderson
Vollie Miller
Bobbie Moon
Henry Morris

The Minutes from July were read. Vollie Miller made motion to accept them as read and Jeff Clark seconded the motion.
Charles mentioned that amateur equipment was for sale from Doc Harris (SK) estate.
Our fall picnic was set for 9/22 at Mt Sinai Community Center with Jeff making motion and Becky seconding it.
The Club will sponsor a VE session. The date will be Nov. 3 with Nov. 20 as secondary date. Motion made by Vollie and seconded by Jeff.
Richard gave us an update on Field Day score:
The Club had 519 CW

.............553 phone contacts

3206 points plus 1220 bonus points.
this gives us a total of 4426 points

Upcoming contest include:
NAQP SSB 8/18 - 19 1pm Sat. to 1pm Sun.
K4TCG 9/9 1pm - 10 pm

Tom Delker - K1KY advised Jeff that we could use the 146.955 for WX nets.

Weather Watch -- keep an eye on Tropical Storm Dean.

Charles mentioned that we need to be thinking about a location for the Christmas party.

There was $31.00 taken up in donations for the club.

The meeting was adjourned by Becky and seconded by Vollie.
