March 2007 Club Meeting Minutes
The March 2007 meeting of the Dickson County Amateur Radio Club was held on March 12, 2007, in room 216 of the Renaissance Center in Dickson. The following members were present and accounted for:

Jeff, NY4N, was the presiding officer. Meeting was opened around 7:05 PM.
Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved.
Discussion of the new antenna at the 911 center took place. Seemed to work well, some dead spots north and northeast of Dickson.
The next meeting of the Dickson Signal Corps was to be held March 29, 2007. It was to be held at the Dickson Police Dept. firing range at 7 P.M.
Dickson of the Simulated Emergency Test (SET) for the fourth weekend in April, the 28 and 29. The scenario was a search and rescue mission to find a small child in Montgomery Bell State Park.
Greg, KI4TCN, has purchased a topo map of the Park. Discussion to follow on particulars.
Some discussion on Field Day. The Club discussed using 3A classification. Also. talk was to use 100 watts of power due to the fact of the low sunspot cycle.
The Club has been offered the use of the Fairgrounds by EMA for Field Day, but might conflict with other planned operations.

Local VE session has been planed for June 9, 2007. Charles, KN4HL, indicates that the date and test site at the Renaissance Center has been secured. The VE session will start at 9 AM sharp.
Background checks for the Dickson Signal Corps all went smooth.
Yellow Vests to be ordered for the Dickson Signal Corps to use.
