The Spring picnic of the Dickson County
Amateur Radio Club was held at the Mt. Sinai Community Center, a
last minute change since there was a scheduling conflict at the
Lakeview Park. The Club elected new officers for the 2005-2006
season. They are:
President: Jerry Lewis, KG4HDZ
Vice President Charles Seay, KN4HL
Secretary Jeff Clark. NY4N
Very little business discussed, the only thing mentioned was the
buying of Field Day Pins for those who participate. At this time,
the Club is going to buy 15 pins up front, and if others are needed,
they can be purchased at a later date.
We are starting the new fiscal year with 342.00 dollars in the
treasury. This is taking into account all expenditures and
collections in the white elephant sale and donations.
The next meeting of the Dickson County ARC will be on 13 June 2005,
7 PM, at the Renaissance Center in Dickson. Unsure of the program
topic but almost sure it will be about Field Day. Landon, KF4CAU, is
the field day director for the Club this year. Contact him if you
have in questions or comments.
Sorry about the late posting, I have had computer problems, but they
seem to be fixed at the moment.
