An Allegory from the Beginning of Radio.
The above painting shows a picture scanned with the first prototype color scanner developed for the German interactive videotex service (BTX). This service was first promoted on Hanover Fair in 1979. The content is an allegory from the beginning of radio showing how waves could be propagated: The „Ätherzeppelin” (airship on ether) is symbolized. So the radio industries advertised for receivers in 1935. The first page of DH6MAV´s hamsite looks almost as the historic original.
