I live in Neukirchen, a small town which is about 100km north of Frankfurt/Main.
The locator is JO40QU. It is 250m above sea-level and surrounded by hills up to 640m.
Because of that, it is not easy to make VHF/UHF-contacts from there and I mostly use
a portable-location...
For work reasons i moved from my home town to Northrhine Westfalia

The portable-location is a hill near my hometown. It is called "Knüllköpfchen",
is 634m above sea-level and its locator is JO40RV. There are several good places
to set up an antenna and the takeoff is very good in any direction.
The hill is
also the QTH for the packet-radio digipeater DB0KH, the ATV-repeater DB0KNL, a tower
from Mannesmann(Vodafone) communications and many windmills for power-generation.
