"Grüß Gott", so sagt man im Schwabenländle im Süden Deutschlands, in das es mich mit meinen Eltern 1945 verschlug, und willkommen auf meiner Homepage. Mein QTH ist Pfullingen, das am Nordrand der Schwäbischen Alb nahe Tübingen am Neckar bzw. Reutlingen liegt. Früh schon interessierte ich mich für Basteln (Schiffe, Flugzeuge, Radios), Briefmarken und Fotografie. Auch für Aussergewöhnliches wie die deutsche Schrift und Morsen mit Lichtsignalen (der 1. Schritt zum Funkamateur?) und später für einen Ingenieur sehr Ungewöhnliches wie Stenografie, Maschinenschreiben und Esperanto (Mi salutas chuijn radioamatorojn!) konnte ich mich begeistern. "Grüss Gott" (the Swabian greeting!), I would like to welcome you to Swabia an area located in Southern Germany. This is where I started with my parents in 1945. My QTH is the town of Pfullingen which you find on the northern edge of the Swabian Alb and close to the towns of Tuebingen on the Neckar river and Reutlingen. From an early age I was interested in making things (ships, aeroplanes & wireless sets), other interests included stamps and photography. I also got enthusiastic about stenography, typewriting and the Esperanto language (Mi salutas chuijn radio-amatorojn!). I think most of these items are very unusual for an engineer.
