K2 # 2328, ordered 22nd of Oct 2001, arrvied here 5th of Nov 2001.
Building went fine, except for the following problems I had:

INFO 080 - Problem: unprogrammed PIC-chip. Arrived here after 5 days.

No Receive on 40m: MY FAULT: Reversed diode in T-R switching, found by building the signal tracing generator as described in the manual

No Receive on 20m: Obviously, I was one of the few hit by that one. Added a 12pf cap parallel to C23, as suggested by Elecraft Support.

Parasitic oscillating on TX output on 40m: MY FAULT installed wrong resistor in T-R switching. Found out after talking to Elecraft Support.

Here are pictures of all the boards (as you can see, even if one is not good at soldering, the kit works! - hi)
And here you find some test equipment I used .
Pictures were taken using a flatbed scanner, no camera!
