Antenna Modeling

Antenna Construction is one of the very few areas left where it is practical for us as Amateur Radio Operators to build our own equipment.
Previously, Antenna Design took "big bucks". Very little software was available and accuracy was poor. Most Antenna performance data came from measurements. Modern PC's anda better understanding of antenna design have changed the way antenna performance is determined. Most, if not all, performance data now comes from Modeling (or simulation) software. This allows us to answer the "what if" questions, and allows us to design our own antennas, with reasonable expectations that they will work as designed.
