Neches River Rendezvous

This event provided a good service, was fun for us and a great test of operating in relatively adverse conditions. We operated simplex 2M using a Beam antenna mounted on a portable tower. HT's with rollup J-Poles were required for the checkpoints on the River itself, and rigs with mag mount antennas were utilized in the transport vans. AS you can see, the event directors and the Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau, were pleased with our efforts.
