Started in the early 1970's the Duke City Hamfest is New Mexico's largest amateur radio gathering and host to the ARRL New Mexico Section Convention. The hamfest is operated by New Mexico Hamvention Inc., a non profit 501(c)(3) corporation, ARRL affiliated organization, whose sole purpose is the planning, operation and funding of the Duke City Hamfest.
