Power Supply Fan Regulator
Since the power supply fan is the most prominent noise source, special care has
to be taken here.
The speed regulator has two different supply paths; for temperatures below 30°
the fan operates on 5 Volts; just enough to keep it going and supply a minimum
of air.
Above 30° a linear regulator kicks in to increase the air flow for higher
loads.
