My name is Bernd. The Call, you see it above, is DB2DI. I passed the licence examination for the class C in December 1974.In January 1975 I joined the German Amateur Radio Association DARC. At that time it was the normal way, to join the national Amateur Radio Association DARC after the passed examination, but the times have changed. Today many of the newcomers in our hobby unfortunately think, they can do it without the membership of the national Amateur Radio Association.
My QSL's are good for all the DLD awards of DARC and also for DIG awards (my number is 5105) and for the award of the Amateur Radio Museum Club "Förderverein Amateurfunkmuseum AFM" (my number is 561).
From the year 1994 I represent as chairman our local chapter Ortsverband Ammersee with DOK C23 in the DARC district of South Bavarian.
Our local branch will have an own homepage in near future.I'm living in Diessen at the lake Ammersee with the locator JN57MW. You can find the city of Diessen nearly 65 miles southwest of Munich. The following map gives you a short overview.
