ANTENNA CALCULATION

This is what the main program page looks like. You have to put information into the numbered boxes.

1.    Power in watts, either use the 4 buttons or type in the power.

2.    The band use the button to find the band you want.

3.    Type of cable use the button to find the cable you use.

4.    Loss in DB per 100 meters of cable the program will fill this block.

5.    Length of cable in meters.

6.    Loss in DB for the length of cable, the program will do this for you.

7.    Connectors how much loss in db, normal .5db per connector enter total number of all connectors.

8.    Meters, turners,amplifires in line the number of connectors.

11.  The program does this.

12.  Antenna gain over a diploe DBD.

13.  Antenna gain over isotropic DBI. Normally not used by Hams.

16.  This box is where you enter the type of modulation use the button (ssb mit sprachprozes) ssb with processor.

17.  The program does this.

18.  This box is for how long you key the transmitter for ssb (intervall).

19.  The program does this.

20,21,22 these steps are done by the program.

Box 23 is the distance your antenna needs to be from the property line or sidewalk for people without pacemakers to be safe.

Box 24 is the distance for people with pacemakers.
