DISTRICT 4 ARES NET PREAMBLE
Good evening this is ( NAME, CALL ) Your net control for this
evening's session of the Amateur Radio Emergency Services
District 4 net. ARES members and all interested amateurs are
encouraged to participate. This net meets daily at 7:30 p.m.
local time on a frequency of 146.78 MHz through the courtesy of
the Linn-Benton-Lincoln emergency Repeater Association, with a
backup frequency of 146.82 MHz. This net will attempt to handle
all traffic offered. This net will provide training in net
procedures, traffic handling, and emergency service coordination.
This is a directed net, and to break the net, PLEASE use your
call. All stations checking in are requested to remain on
frequency until the net is secured, unless excused by net
control.
