Volunteer Examiner Testing

The Cullman Amateur Radio Club offers FCC Amateur Radio license examinations though the ARRL VEC program.   Testing is locally coordinated by Charlie McBrayer WB4PED.   Tests are scheduled on the 2nd Thursday of each month, at the Cullman County Commission on Aging Building.  (Sportsman's Lake Road, just off Highway 31 North)    License examination fee is $15.

Testing is available for all license classes, from your initial license upward to the amateur extra class.   Study materials are available from most large book retailers, as well as many online retailers.   The initial license is the Technician Class.

For more information on getting started in amateur radio, check our www.arrl.org or www.hello-radio.org.    You may also feel free to contact anyone from the club via e-mail addresses available on this website.
