93 ..... CT-599 IAMBIC LEVER PADDLE |
In perfect
conditions it presents the serial number "S/N126 UA 2005".
The adjustment of this paddle is difficult and requires re-adjustment
over time. Designed by Yury Shevchenko, (UR5CDX), the CT 599 is a two
lever iambic paddle which features a highly polished brass base and
components, ball bearing movement, and solid double silver contacts.
This paddle is unique in that its overall height is only about an inch
and a quarter off the table top.
Manufactured in Cherkassy, Ukraine, Yury produces two other variations
of the 599 series, as well as other paddle designs. For more info about

J-5-A key made for the Signal Corps, U.S. Army on order No. 2670 NY 41,
by L.S. Brach Mfg.Co., Newark, New Jersey, USA.
Assume its a 1941 order for the WW2 time period. It's almoast as new and
working nicely.
