Since very young, that electronics atracts me, specialy for the pleasure of using the machines we built. We always start by the simpliest things, like disassemble the house, reassembling it then, always leaving some spare pieces !! Later, at school, i choosed electronics, and telecommunications, and later i become an Amateur Radio operator. In the casualties of life, i joined a professional course at Anfei-Siemens (course page). Being it of Automation and Robotics, you may think that it led me to a different path....you are wrong ! I started to like automation, digital systems, and i took a deep step into the science of putting everything working by itself. I discovered something that rules our electronics, and a weapon to a more civilized world: the microcontrollers ! |

Restless bugs, that work at the speed of light, help us in the most different automation tasks. Think in the multitude of digital logic devices you had to use to accomplish an automatic door, and that with uC’s you only use one specimen!! and the completed printed circuit board, looks like a small credit card!! and even smaller if we use the good SMD’s... !! :-) Unbelivable hum ?? right...that was exactly what i said, no more no less, when i discovered the potencial of this tiny wonders. |

But of course, life is not electronics.... yes...yes... My other great passion is music! Since very young that i grabbed my guitar, as i was grabbing my life, and made the lowdest noise i could !! :-) Disturbed were those Sunday mornings when i exalted my 1000watt of musical power, inside my little room, in a big neighbourhood. Neighbours loved me! But i was not satisfied... and grouped more friends to complete the noise. Two of them, now, are in a big Portuguese boys band called “Milénio”. Yeh.....yeh.... before they become rockstars we played togheter in the high school stage !! It was there that the stage bug attacked me. Last band i had, called Ar de Roque, for over two years, miles of road and litters of smoke in the most peculliar bars we played all over the country. But good things quickly disappeared, and the professional life stumbled the band, and the rest you can guess. You can see the homepage of the band, though... |

Present days, i am a Amater radio operator CT2GPW, and i dedicate myself to the studdy and programming of microcontrollers PIC. I have several projects made, others on the bench, that keeps me occupied ! |
