This embedded system converts GPS information - NMEA 0183, into packet radio data - AX25. It also transmits a Callsign, Destination of the packet data, Path of the packets, Status text, Altitude, Icon of the Callsign (car, house, boat, plane, bycicle, ...). The timing between beacons can be configured, as also the TxDelay - how long to wait to tx data, after radio TX on. miniTraveller is completely configured using a PC with a serial port. |
