CQ1MS DX'Pedition in IM59nm

8 of August 1998, Candeeiros Mountain

On the 8th of August A.R.U.A. V-U-SHF Team: CT1DNF, CT1FAK, CT1FOH, CT1ETZ, CT2GKT, CT5GKN and CT2GRS.

All the expedition we consider good however the Perseids where not with very goods reflections

Thanks to ICOM - DCXL Telecomunicações that provide us several equipment, A.R.A.L. - Amateur Radio Association of Leiria, that provide us the place with 220V to place the station and the antenas. Many thanks to Guido, DL6EBW that help us with his knowledge of this type of operations and organize the skeds.

All the QSLs sent on 2 of September 1998, except EA1DG/CT1 (he is now working in Portugal) and CT1GUR I've not the adress. If you know please tell me, tanks in advance.

The CQ1MS station: One FT-1000 with down converter to 144 - 28 MHz with GaAsFET preamplifier from one SR-200, one IC-746 for transmit with one other SR-200 , 9A4GL software for reception and OH5IY with a BC-547 modem working at 1500 lpm. For 20m VHF Net one IC-706 MK II but with no time to run.
