The ECTSY Radio Team is a joint venture of CT1CSY and CT1ECT.

We start in 2000 with a small expedition to a reference valid only for Portuguese Island Award located in the Tagus River, near Lisbon.

This Team has a concept for Ham Radio, our goal is just… making Ham Radio with pleasure.

For us small things like stop a pile-up for a minute to give an opportunity to a qrp station, repeat again and again our callsign to a less sensitive station, be patient with handicapped people, and specialy be polite on operating procedures, are the real things!

Since we are the "wanted one" when we are on the air, you either play by our rules or simply didn't play.

We donīt want to be the nš 1! If someone wants to go on the air and become a super-ham, with a super-station and fight for signal supremacy, fine.

If not, that's fine too. In our humble opinion is there's enought spectrum for everyone.

The fact is we are still all in this together, and we must respect each others "on the air" operating options, even if we don't use or agree with it.
