WiSP is a Tracking / PACSAT Program available from the following link : http://www.amsat.org/amsat/ftpsoft.html#win-wisp There is actually no help file compiled for this software. The help file will be made available later. Most of the commands are intuitive and do not require any explanation to be understood. In Manual Mode : * Click on the Displays titles (Uplink or Downlink) to switch Manual/Auto Track. * Click on the Digits for a Band change * Click on the mode disply to change the mode In Automatic Mode * All the above commands are inhibited. * The slider under the Downlink display is used to introduce a frequency correction. - The Offset is displayed above the Downlink Frequency. - The offset will be stored on a per satellite basis and automatically recalled upon the beginning of a tracking. - A right Click will Reset the Offset to 0. Settings ======== A. WiSP ======= WiSP needs to be told to send DDE information to the outside. 1. Menu 'Setup' 2. Choose 'Station Setup' 3. Select the 'Rotator' Tab 4. In 'Interface Type' choose 'DDE' 5. Adjust Stop position and Park to your requirements 6. Click 'Ok' B. FodTrack Interface ====================== This program is designed to use the Fodtrack Parallel Interface to control your rotor. You only need to build the Card. FodTrack can be downloaded from my site or from AMSAT.ORG C. GSCTrack =========== The program configuration is straight forward and does not need much of an expanation. If you wish to used a Downconverter for SHF or Higher frequencies, all you have to do is to enter the Local Oscillator frequency in the appropriate fields and GSCTrack will send the proper frequency to your transceiver. You do not have to set the Transverter information in WiSP. Although, if you wish to do otherwise, then do not activate the transverter option in GSCTrack. That's all there is to it !! You're now ready to track. Known bugs: None so far, but there are probably some left...
