Field Day 2006 Local Hams Had fun will participate in the radio madness called Field Day. We operated under AA4NJ running 6A (Alpha). Total contacts a few less than last year but ok considering poor propagation.
Madison County Safety Fair 2006 This was our first exhibit to demonstrate to hundreds of local residents the abilities and usage of ham radio to communicate in the event of a local emergency situation.
Boy Scouts Merit Badge Fair Jan - Feb 2006 in Richmond. Radio merit badge class given to local boys interested in radio.

Special Event - May 7, 2005 Boonesborough State Park. The 236rd anniversary of the beginning of the discovery of Kentucky. Daniel Boone set out May 1, 1769 from the Yadkin River in NC to discover and settle Kentucky.

October 24, 2001 Annual emergency exercise RACES event in conjunction with the Madison County Emergency Operations Center, CECEP, and FEMA. All available HAMS are requested to participate in this important event.
October 6, 2001 Special Event kick off for the Presidential Counties Award offered by our club for individuals that have worked a prescribed number of counties with names of US Presidents. See QST October issue for details.
September 9, 2001 family picnic at Million Park 12:00 p.m. with lunch about 1:00 p.m. This event is open to all local amateur radio operators with a special invitation to those that participated in the joint effort "Hams Having Fun in KY" under the call AA4NJ better known as our local Field Day group from EARS and WTARC (Richmond and Berea Clubs).

Special Event for Boy Scouts was held at Lake Reba October 2000. Members of the local club demonstrated for the public our hobby with local Boy Scout guest operators.
