While none of these awards are available from Cypress Chapter today, they still hold a place in the history of our chapter.

Click to see a larger view When Cypress Chapter was still in it's infancy, all you had to do is work twenty of it's members, and this is what you got to show for it. This Medalion, was actually crafted from printed circuit board material and embossed with the certificate number. As you can imagine, these took some time to create, and as the chapter grew, it was no longer practical to offer these awards.
Click to see a larger view This Cypress award was offered for working a number of members and W4OAK as the inspiration for this award and hence it's namesake 'OAK' was affixed to it. This awards also was crafted from printed circuit material, and embossed with the certificate number
Click to see a larger view The Cypress Founders Award was issued to those members that successfully worked the two founding members of the chapter, K4TSY (Dex) and K4HTU (Bob), along with any 100 other members of the chapter. At the close of this program, 110 members successfully completed this challange.
