Brief history of CCARS
CCARS was first conceived in 1992 by
a few 'old timers'. They mail out invitations to Chinese Hams in the greater

The executives organized meeting of
the general membership every month except July and August. Since January/93,
CCARS had to cancel only one regular monthly meeting because of a severe snow
storm. Regular CCARS annual events include Chinese New Year banquet, Field day/BBQ/picnic,
2 way radio communication service for community annual charity fun runs, and
Christmas party.
