The Cumberland County Emergency Net meets each Sunday at 1930 hours
on the 146.73 (-) (100.0 Hz) repeater located in Falmouth Maine
The mission of Cumberland County ARES is to provide supplimental, backup communications support during times of disaster or emergency to disaster relief agencies in Cumberland County and provides weather information to the National Weather Service under the Skywarn program during periods of severe weather.
The Amateur Radio Emergency Service is open to any licensed Amateur Radio operator who has a sincere desire to serve his or her county and community in times of disaster or emergency. To register with Cumberland County ARES, contact Bryce, K1GAX by e-mail. Registration with Cumberland County ARES indicates that you and your equipmentmay be available if a disaster or emergency strikes Cumberland County.
