| Notes from the Newletter editor Much discussion at last months meeting about a location for Field day. Any one with any contacts or good suggestions? I will unfortunately have to miss the next three meetings. I will be working with a spark gap transmitter at the Laurel Oaks Vocational School. Translation, Im taking an advanced welding course. Since I didnt set myself on fire in the beginning class and didnt weld any tools to the table, theyll let me try it again. For anyone who hasnt checked them out, Laurel Oaks does a number of evening classes, from conversational Spanish to home electrical wiring and others of interest to hams. Oh yeah, anyone got any small welding projects to be done, let me know. An item of discussion has been to have a swap or trade meet, either within our club or combined with other clubs. Comments? Dayton Hamvention is only four months away. Start planning if you have anything you want to sell, or donate to the club. Hopefully well have the same arrangements as last year, and the trailer and space arrangements will work out.
