The Chesapeake Amateur Radio Service was started in 1979 with approximately 12 charter members. The club continues to have a group of operators dedicated to provide SKYWARN and emergency communication services and educational opportunities to citizens of the City of Chesapeake and the South Hampton Roads community. Our current membership (2008) exceeds 80 members! Club meetings are in the QRM Room, 116 Reservation Dr, Chesapeake, VA 23322-5204 at 7:30 p.m. the first Monday of each month. Occasional restaurant locations are announced in the Spectrum Newsletter and in the EVENTS section. Please refresh this page regularly. Updates occur frequently.
