Calling the Carroll Amateur Radio Emergency Team. This net meets weekly on Tuesday at 8:30 PM local time for Emergency training, passing traffic, and other purposes. This is a directed net, ALL communications shall be at the specific direction of net control. This net is affiliated with RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service) & ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and is sponsored by the Carroll County Amateur Radio Club. You may request membership information from net control when you check in. All amateurs are welcome to participate, break. (wait for reset) Questions Place in section # Is there an alternate net control on frequency? 1 Is there any formal written traffic for the net? 2 Are there stations with announcements for net net? 2 Are there any liaison or out-of-county stations on frequency? 3 Are there any mobile stations to check in? 4 Check-ins will now be taken from the first half of the alphabet, 5 if your callsign suffix begins with Alpha through Mike, please come now Check-ins will now be taken from the rest of the alphabet, November through Zulu. Remember to pause and identify regularly (ID every 10 min MAX.) Call stations with traffic and then stations with announcments. *** After traffic and announcments call for EARLY OUTS *** Now ask for late check-ins. Call mobile stations for comments & then other stations in order. After all comments make a last call for check-ins. This has been a regular session of the CARET NET.
