-Eric Gammeter N8AAY: The Frederick Amateur Radio Club’s 448.425
 repeater is back up and operating nominally.  PL tone, when
 active is 100.0Hz. Thanks go to Bob, N3UHD for repair and also
 Larry, WX3F for providing monitoring service!

-The Fall (FAR) Fest is NOT dead, it will once again be at the
 Gaithersburg MD Fairgrounds in September!

-ITU: Is recommending that an A and C run together (.--.-.) become
 the official Morse character for "@," subject to approval by member

- MADXRA: The mailing control op list has changed to: 
  
  Control Ops for any of MADXRA repeaters can be reached here.

  The Courtesy tone for System 4 (448.125+ PL123.0), has been changed
  to help those operators that use audio to identify repeaters.

  helps you learn CW and CW traffic handling. Take a look at their

- A "new" SSB 2-meter net: Saturdays 20:15 local, 146.590 - They may
  eventually move to the SSB area, but for now they're up here.
  Also, they are using their vertically polarized antennas.

 We have two Public Service events scheduled for April. The first
 event is the MS Walk on the C&O canal. Radio operators will be
 needed between about 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

 Sunday, April 25:
 The second event is the Pike's Peek 10K Run
 from the Shady Grove Metro station to White Flint Mall. Volunteers
 will be needed between 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. If you are able to

at Myersville, Maryland, Volunteer Fire Company at 8:00AM. Since
MADXRA is a -regional- club, we meet for breakfast at other
