October 8, 7:30 Present 10 Treasurer out of town--No report Minutes from previous report last month unavailable No old business reported New business is as follows: To reserve a spot at the 4H Fairgrounds, KA9IOS has asked that the club authorize her write a check for $75. Friday would cost $100 and Saturday $300. *Motion was made by N9TLF to authorize KA9IOS to cut check for $75 to reserve a place at the 4H Fairgrounds for Hamfest of 1999. Seconded by Jim S. Motion passed.* Date for Hamfest next year tentatively scheduled for March, no set date at this time. *N9PUG reported that the Seymour Repeater was back on the air. He also stated that he could be Net Control for December (if volunteer for that month has no objections). Group expressed a desire to have a Fox Hunt. There may be a special guest next month to talk about this subject with the club. Group also expressed a desire to have some kind of a get-together (party, picnic, hotdog roast) with Seymour club. No plans made yet. Subject of Nominating Committee came up. N9PUG volunteered to be on the committee. There were no other volunteers at this time. Motion was made and seconded to adjourn.
