Caster and son Adrian; and KC9DUG, Glenda Aikins.

auction of a Cushcraft A147-22 stacked elevens 2m
beam. The proceeds will be donated to
the club.
Joe has a Radio Shack dual cassette deck which needs new
belts. Many suggested that Buford Lee,
KE4KOQ, possesses the skills to make such a repair.
Allan Wiseman, KC9BOA, gave an update on the high school
location 440 repeater. A confirmed date
within two weeks has been given for antenna installation. A formal request for frequency assignment has
been give the Indiana Frequency Coordinator.
The Net control for November has been re-assigned to Alvin
Koffman, KA9QLQ. Joe has offered to be available as backup.

for the hamfest location deposit.
Noel Taylor, N9CJT, has had some initial contact with the
Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network, SATERN, who have voiced an
interest in forming a Bartholomew
County
chapter.
There was some discussion concerning the changing of the
club’s monthly meeting place. Alvin assured us
that both Willow Crossing and Parkside Baptist were willing to host us. Lois has spoken with the latest administrator of Willow
Crossing and has found out that more remodeling/refurbishing work is to be done
including carpeting, floor waxing, wallpaper, etc. They request that we move chairs only, do not move tables.
*** PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE IN OUR MONTHLY
MEETING LOCATION ***
Noel made a motion that the club relocates its meeting place
to Parkside Baptist
Church for short term until
carpeting, waxing, wallpapering, etc. are completed at Willow Crossing. Motion 2nd. Discussion. Clarified that the duration
of this change is open ended.
Motion Passed. Alvin verifies
that the church has pre-approved our continued meeting here.
There was discussion of the desire to give an appropriate
donation to the church for the use of their facilities and to have a listing of
any rules they may have for its use.
Alvin
will get clarification on these items.
REPEATER UPDATE:
We are currently running a backup repeater. Our primary machine is “on the bench” at Burt
Baltus’, N9LQP, shop. Once the primary
repeater is returned to operation and is confirmed to be as it should be
Marion
asks approval to ship the backup for repair, tune up, and to have an output
tone board installed. Motion made. There was some discussion concerning a more
local repair and a price cap on cost.
The motion was appended to include a $250 price cap on total cost. Motion 2nd. Passed.
Lois: Flowers were
sent to Joe’s wife during her recent illness.
Noel: Club owned
radio equipment formerly used at County
