Secretary’s & Treasurer’s reports were read.
Two meter repeater update: Marion, WD9HTN, reports the new repeater unit is ready. “They” are not happy with the controller yet. Still working on getting tone on/off as desired. No payment has been made yet.
Mike Riley, N9LTT, reports on the 440 repeater: some maintenance has been done with the connections, still some RF noise at present. Power is up to 25W form 10W previously. Echo/IRLP which connects the two networks is in progress. Echolink can connect up to 20 stations at one time while IRLP is limited to a single station connection. IRLP connections may be identified by the three beeps on the courtesy tone.

distribution. We need people to contact
radio stations for publicity announcements.
Discussion was held as to “what” copy would be provided to the stations. Last years we spent $136 for newspaper ads in
the Republic. This included a Sunday,
Thursday, and Friday ad the week prior the event. Cost for this year’s
publicity were discussed.
The Kenwood mobile door prize is on hand. Scotty, KB9WCQ, will provide a power supply/radio?/SWR meter. Scotty will also be the primary talk-in operator.
