Old Business:

Discussion was continued regarding the contribution to the club from the Tandem Bike

Ride Group.  A motion was made by Joe LaFauci to:

donate $200 to Parkside Baptist designated for the new sanctuary bldg fund

$150 to support  QSL.NET for hosting our club home page

$150 to the Columbus 4-H Fairgrounds.

Motion was seconded by David Dye and passed unanimously.

Marion Winterberg reported that the club repeater change-out was now complete.

Everything appears to be working correctly. Initially, there was a concern over a

low voltage warning, however it turned out to be a setup parameter that was set too

                                low.

New Business:

Lois Winterberg brought it to our attention that we need to obtain a new license

for the trailer used to carry the club’s crank-up tower. Cost would be approx 24.00

Marion Winterberg made a motion that we also set aside money for some used

tires for the trailer also. However, since the size and type of tires was unknown we were unable to determine an amount to allocate.  Marion agreed to determine what was required and look into availability of used tires.

Steve Low made a motion that we obtain an Amateur Radio plate for the trailer. It was estimated to cost approx 60.00 for plates to cover this year and next year. Motion was seconded by Bob Walden (N9SLL). Motion carried.

Marion Winterberg asked club members to keep their eyes and ears open for

any individuals or companies that would be willing to provide door prizes at the

Columbus Hamfest.

It was suggested by David Dye that the club consider obtain a PayPay account in

order to streamline payment of dues and also to allow the club to sell items on

E-Bay if desired. There was brief discussion, but no motions were made.

Lois Winterberg  raised the question about audio on the 443.075 repeater. It was

acknowledged that low audio was still a problem. Allan Wiseman (KC9BOA)

stated that he would be in contact with Mike (N9LTT) to try to assist in correcting

the problem.
