February 10, 2000 CARC Meeting

Lois, KA9IOS, read treasurer's report; bal. $5,773.87

Dave, KB9RBC, read January minutes.

There was a discussion about reversing the club's decision to make a
donation to Parkside Baptist Church, and decided not to.

Lois will talk to Channel 13 once more.  Jim, N9KVX, suggested that their
weather van could be parked at the CARC hamfest.

Marion, WD9HTN, will be net control in April.

Marion talked about the upgrade class.

Marion mentioned that he knows of a good tower for sale.

It was suggested that a notice be put in the Republic about the next CARC meeting
and Ed Krome's presentation.

There was a discussion about ARRL affiliation and what it means to be ARRL-affiliated.

There was a discussion about the new meeting place, which will be Sandy Hook
United Methodist Church, effective 3/9/00.

Dave, N9QBS, talked about Cummins' broadcast studio, and offered a tour to the club.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
