Lois Winterberg, KA9IOS, asked that the club consider being incorporated. Discussion.
$30.00 state fee; $10.00 annual fee; required board of directors. Advantage to avoid being sued as individuals. Not for profit organization. Tax & postage savings.
Financial disclosure to state required annually.
Lois will contact the national ARRL.
Noel Taylor, N9CJT, will contact the Indiana ARRL for their thoughts and input on this.
Research will be ongoing to the December meeting.
Steve Low KB9QFT, brought up concerns for the public’s lack of knowledge of the club’s availability in the support of community events. Discussion.
Upcoming Midwest Tandem Bicycle Rally will be held Labor Day weekend. Those volunteering are invited to an informal on the air net on the Thursday prior.
