The Clubs' antenna set-up.

Here we have the proposed site for the antenna set up at the Broome College of Tafe. As you can see, not much room, so, we shall improvise. (As the College is to be moved to a new site we are not making anything that is too permanent.)

[Picture will go here]

When we are set-up, this is what we're gunna have. A home brew multi-band verticle for 80 - 10 metres, on a pole about 15' above ground, a wire mesh satellite dish for working EME and Satellites, which will be mounted on the roof of the college. There are going to be a pair of 24 elemets stacked, phased yagi's, also for satellite work, but these are still beeing built. The yagi's will also be mounted on the roof because of lack of room anywher else, and the fact they they will not be facing parallel to the roof, interference will be minimised.

We are also planning on installing a repeater, satellite communicator and beacon at the site, so local ham's can have better access to the rest of the country via VHF and UHF. The satellite uplink and downlink will provide the local VHF and UHF enthusiasts with a stable passage out of Broome, UHF CBers will also benefit from this.
