BMARC News
Broadcast
The BMARC now have their own news broadcast. It is compiled by
Peter VK2YX from several amateur radio audio sources around the world. It is
broadcast every Monday evening at 8PM local time on our 2 Mx repeater
147.050Mhz and on 80Mx on a frequency of 3.543Mhz. Callbacks are very
welcome.
The broadcast is also available 24hrs a day 7 days a week via streaming real
audio. Click here

IRLP Internet Linking
Our 2Mx repeater, VK2RBM (147.050Mhz) is now linked to the
worldwide IRLP network.
Congratulation to
Peter VK2YX, Adrian VK2BFN and Peter VK2JPJ who have setup the network. Early
reports are extremely encouraging. The system is far superior to the I-Phone
linking we had been using.
Details of the internet linking system can be found on the IRLP

June Club Meeting
The June meeting of the BMARC was held on Friday evening
1/6/01 at 8PM. This was our annual AGM. The office bearers are listed at the
bottom of this page.
The raffle prize of a new HTX-100 10m Transceiver donated by
John Belshaw, VK2IUI was drawn and the lucky winner was Ross VK2MNP.

Pascal's HF Receiver
Those who attended the December Xmas party will have seen
Pascal, VK2IHL's latest project. Well he has committed the details of this
marvellous receiver to the web and as is his usual style, he has done a
first class job with his first web design.
