Belgian Mill Award

There are three different awards available, each in both HF & VHF

Model A: Being for activating the windmill references.(HF of VHF)
Model B: Being making contact with active windmill references.(HF of VHF)
Model C:SWL- Listener reports HF of VHF.

Belgian Mill Award

TYPE A

The Belgian Mill Award type A is obtained by satisfying the following conditions:

* The contacts must be made whilst either /P or /M, and this in the immediate vicinity (max. 250m) of the mill. (Can be verified by the organisers.)

* Contacts via repeaters are not valid.

* Cumulation of HF & VHF contacts is not allowed.

· Activation of at least 10 mill references with a minimum of 30 stations contacted per reference. (not neccesarily on the same date)

· Only mills with a reference number recognised by the organisers can be considered for validation of contacts. Referencenumber are to be asked at least 10 days before activation to K.VANWIJNSBERGHE ON6WV Kortrijksestraat 366, B-8501 Heule or by e-mail ON6WV@qsl.net or can be found at the site http://www.qsl.net/bma.

* At least 30 different stations must be contacted per reference (not neccesarily on the same date or with the same callsign) so that the reference could be validated.

* Application log to be sent either by e-mail or on diskette (Exel) or in a sealed envelope to the following address:Maurits NOLF,Sparrentuin 29,B-8793 St. Eloois-Vijve, e-mailadres Maurits_Nolf@hotmail.com. Loglists must be sign by two radio-amateurs with a valid license.

* A fee of 10 €, for every award each, should be paid to account number 000-1199967-77 of Maurits NOLF with the mention of your callsign and the type of award applied for.

* A list of the mill references can be obtained:see bbs ON0CK C:\BMA-molens.txt, on the internet at http://www.qsl.net/bma or by sending a stamped addressed envelope, or by e-mail (for addresses see above).

Belgian Mill Award

TYPE B

The Belgian Mill Award (BMA) type B is obtained by satisfying the following conditions:

* Log submission of at least 30 valid windmill references contacted.

* A fee of 10 €, for every award each, should be paid for to account number 000-1199967-77 of Maurits NOLF with the mention of your callsign and the type of award applied for.

* Cumulation of HF & VHF contacts is not allowed, nor are contacts via repeaters. These do not receive consideration for the award.

BELGIAN MILL AWARD

TYPE C

The Belgian Mill Award Type C, is obtained under the same conditions as the model B, but of course for Listener reports.

· Log submission of at least 30 valid windmill references contacted.

It would be particularly appreciated if every radioamateur that activates a mill reference would send a special QSL card to all stations worked.
