Location
John Paul Jones Park is located in a beautiful section of Bay Ridge Brooklyn, right at the foot of the modern-looking Verrazano bridge. It is Just outside of Fort Hamilton (est. 1812) There is a very large early 19th century cannon painted black along it's 4th Avenue side. There are also, a good 2 dozen 1000lb  cannonballs arrainged behind the long-ago intended massive ordinace. On most bell-weather  Sundays, wedding photographers make the most of the picturesque grounds facing the shore area. We are usually set up alongside the prominade of trees running along the inner 101st Street side. If you want to be notified next time we plan to operate there, email Tony WW2W and/or Kevin N2TO via the mail links on the welcome 1st page.  >>>  welcome.htm
Directions & Parking
Exit the Belt Parkway at Fort Hamilton - EXIT 4.  As soon as you exit, you will see the park alongside 4th Avenue on the right. START looking for parking from this point, within a  5 block radius.
Parking is extremely scarce (the ONLY drawback to the area - I live here)
so watch carefully for people walking jiggling their keys do and ask politely if they are "getting out".
There are a good number of metered spots that are FREE on Sundays!
We hope to see you there. Below is a map of the area.
(map to be inserted).
The R train also stops nearby at 95th Street and 4th Avenue.
The B5 ??? NYC bus stops right across the street from the park... it's last stop.
