Kingdom of Bhutan DXpedition
The Bhutan 2000 DXpedition Team will be arriving in Bhutan shortly. An "advance team" is already in place at The Pine Wood Hotel in Thimphu. They report all licenses are "in hand" and several beam antennas are already assembled.
The operating location is on top of a big hill with a perfect view toward Europe, as well as both short and long paths to North America.
Actual operation will begin following an inspection of the stations by a Ministry of Communications officer, probably tomorrow.
Stand by for an announcement of actual startup time and the assigned callsign.
