1. The radio amateur is considerate. Never Knowingly operates in such a way as to lessen the pleasure of others.

2. The radio amateur is loyal. Offers loyalty, encouragement and support to other amateurs, local clubs, and the American Radio Relay League, through which Amateur Radio in the United States is represented nationally and internationally.

3. The radio amateur is progressive. With knowledge abreast of science, a well-built and efficient station and operation above reproach.

进步－随着知识与科学的发展，不断追求进步，电台保持良好状态和有效率，操作实务无可非议。

4.The radio amateur is friendly. Slow and patient operating when requested; friendly advice and counsel to the beginner; kindly assistance , cooperation and consideration for interests of others. These are the hallmarks of the amateur spirit.

友善－与初学者通讯时，发报时应缓慢有耐心，予以和善的指导及协助，适当考虑到他人的兴趣，发扬业余精神。

5. The radio amateur is balanced. Radio is an avocation, never interfering with duties owed to family, job, school, or community.

平衡－无线电为一业余爱好，绝不因之妨害对家庭、职业、学校和其他对社会所应尽的义务。

6.The radio amateur is patriotic. Station and skill always ready for service to country and community.

爱国－所具备的技能和拥有的电台随时准备为国家和社会服务。
