ATN - NetMeetomg Information

Step 1:  Download Software

You can get the NetMeeting software directly from Microsoft (it's FREE). Just click on one of the icons below to go to Microsoft's Internet Explorer download page or NetMeeting download page.

Step 2:  Running NetMeeting and connecting to the ATN

After you have downloaded and installed the NetMeeting software, start the program and check the version by clicking "Help" and then "About Microsoft Netmeeting".  You shoud see a version page like the one below.  We are currently running version 3.01 (4.4.3385).

Click on "OK to close the "About Microsoft NetMeeting" window.

 

Next, to place a call and connect to the ATN, click on the "Call" button or click on "Call" and then click on "New Call..", like this:

 

. . . and that will open the "Place A Call" window

In the "To:" window, type 67.167.172.48
In the "Using:" window, select Network from the pull down options.
Then click on "Call" and a window saying "Waiting for 67.167.172.48 to respond" will open.

After it connects, Click on "Cancle" and you should see a screen similar to the one below.

If your "Remote Video" looks like this:

don't worry, maybe nobody is currently using the repeater.  If nobody is using the repeater, the repeater will ID for approxmately 30 seconds and then go off the air until someone keys up again.

Check into the ATN net on Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m. (California time)
