Bryan, VA3BRY, brought the meeting to order.
M.S.—Neil, VE3VNM; Bob, VE3YDN—the minutes of the September 12, 2012 meeting be adopted. Carried.
Bryan, VA3BRY, reviewed our E.C. Trailer Funding. There has still been no response from Mr. Rickford’s office. Price quotes need to be finalized.
M.S.—Ted, VE3TBO; Ken, VE3VGM—the Financial Report be adopted. Carried.
Pumpkin patrol on Gate Night and Halloween Night was well covered. No incidents to report.
The Kinsmen Club has asked the club to assist with Coordination/Emergency Communications for the Dec. 7 Christmas Parade.
The Club’s Christmas Dinner will be held Dec 12 at the Dryden Flying Club (subject to availability).
The Club executive will remain in office for 2013.
Bob, VE3YDN, advised the club has been invited to make a presentation at the NWO Emergency Response Forum in April 2013. Bob, VE3YDN, will obtain a quote for new magneti c signs for club publicity.
M.S.—Ken, VE3VGM; Ted, VE3TBO—the club apply annually for RAC Club Affiliation. Carried.
With 2013 fast approaching, Club membership dues were reviewed.
Garry, VA3GPW, is checking on availability of a crank-up tower for the E.C.C. trailer.
Scott, VA3EXT, (and Kenora hams Andy, VE3JJX, and Justin, VE3XTI) installed the Red Lake digipeater on Prairie Mobile`s tower (5 miles South of Red Lake). The I-Gate is set up at the Catholic School in Red Lake. The School Board donated a laptop. A digi is also planned for the new Ear Falls Fire Hall.
Neil, VE3VNM, moved the meeting adjorn.
Scott, VA3EXT, won the 50-50 draw.
