New Business:

Scott is working on a new computer for the E.O.C.  The previous computer had a Hard Drive failure, so Scott has to manually rebuild the files.  He will clone the new hard drive in case of future failure.

Five students in the ham class will write their Basic Exam Jan 28th.  (A 6th student is away, but hopes to finish his course on returning to Dryden.)  Jim, VE3JLN, has updated his V.E. status with Industry Canada.

Steve Wright, VE7CT, wrote a letter to the club asking for financial assistance for a DX-pedition to Amsterdam Island in the Southern Indian Ocean.  Due to club finances, we were unable to assist him.

M.S.—Neil, VE3VNM; Jim, VE3JLN—the club release our mailing list to RAC to assist them in recruiting new members to the national amateur radio organisation.  Carried.

Scott, VA3EXT, advised the members that the Sioux Lookout Repeater was Identifying in CW steadily, so was not useable.  There are also problems with the links through Sioux Narrows.  Andy, VE3JJX may have found a source of Master 3 UHF repeaters.  If available, he will procure a couple for us.  These will be used to replace the UHF linking radios when they expire.

Scott, VA3EXT, volunteered as a club examiner.  He will apply to Industry Canada.

Moved by Neil, VE3VNM, the meeting adjourn.

Jim, VE3JLN won the 50/50 draw.
