"Pavia Storica" Award

PAVIA STORICA AWARD 2005 - RANKINGS

ARI Section of Pavia, "I2RRG Angelo Arrigoni", estabilishes this Award of cultural interest, by issuing each year starting from 2001, a different image about the medieval city of Pavia.
All HAMs and SWLs worldwide can attend this Award on 0.7/2/6/10/15/20/40/80 meters bands, according to the bandplan; valid modes are SSB, CW and Digital - WARC bands are excluded.

Date: September, 1st to 30th.
Time: 00:00 - 24:00
Scores:

Italian Stations: 40 points
European Stations: 30 points
Extra-European Stations: 15 points

Operator CALL: CQ DPS followed by the QRZ
The same station can be worked only once per day and no more than five times during the Award timespan, independently from band and mode.
Station IQ2PV can be worked only once.
Award Stations will be operated by the ARI Pavia Section Hams.
Score:
- Normal Award Station = 4 Digi, 3 SSB, 5 CW
- Joker Award Station = 6 SSB/CW/Digi
- ARI Pavia Group Station IQ2PV = 8 SSB/CW/Digi
- Special Station II2TPV (September, 10th 2005) of Ticino River = 10 SSB/CW/Digi

A special edition of the Award Certificate will be sent free of charge (for no more than 3 years in a row) to the best scoring Italian, European and Extra-European Station; in case of even scores the bigger number of QSOs will win. A special QSL will be sent to all Award attendees, regardless of their request for the Award Certificate, which should be sent to the following address:

Please do not use registered mail.

To get the Award Certificate the attendee has to send his own QSL as well as a Log report containing all Award QSOs/HRDs worked, callsign, name, last name and address. The request must be received within the end of the year. No contacts QSLs are required. The Award S&H fee is €10,00, which must be enclosed with the Log. Good Luck to everyone!
