The event is held on the second Sunday of September, from a radio station located along Viale Lungo Ticino Sforza in Pavia.
The Call II2TPV is also worth 10 points SSB/CW for the award
"Pavia storica"

All HAMs and SWLs worldwide are invited to attend the event, according to HF(10/15/20/40/80), VHF(2m) and UHF(70cm) band-plan (modes SSB/CW/Digi); WARC bands are excluded. A special QSL (see below) will be sent to all the attendees.
