The BCARES Board has adopted a resolution to urge that each BCARES member purchase a denim shirt in "natural" color (between cream and light tan) for use during BCARES events.

Doshia and I have researched sources for these shirts and found that the most cost effective (lowest price and good quality) is from Traveling Products in Longmont. What we have is: 7.25oz. Denim shirt, short sleeve, button down collar, single pocket on the left side (as you wear it) with BCARES embroidered above the pocket, tax and all is $26.50 ($2 more for long sleeve) or you can get it with "Boulder County ARES" (two lines) for $28.50 ($30.50 in long sleeve). That is for sizes small to extra large (2X and 3X are extra $s).

These shirts are true to size and show no shrinkage after six washings. - PL

Embroidery options are for 10 characters upper case or 15 characters mixed case maximum line length. Two lines per side maximum. Cost for the first line is $5.00, Additional lines (maximum four total) are $2.00 each. You may have your Name and/or call added if you wish.

There are no logos or proprietary markings. “BCARES” goes on the left in one inch, block letters, in navy blue. Your first name and call sign go on the right in half inch block letter in two lines, in navy blue thread. All lettering goes above pocket level. The shirt is an “off white” (ecru) color.
