This is the Anderson PowerPole 30 Amp (APP-30A) connector. District 11 (BCARES) is in the process of converting from the Molex/R.S. two pin to the APP-30A on all of its equipment. The APP-30A handles three times the current and is rated at five times the number of plug/un-plug cycles, yet costs about the same. If you do not have your own "standard" established, this is an excellent choice.
